It was a come-together for the Rangers family at the weekend in Nnewi, Anambra state, as the who-is-who in the club bid a final farewell to one of its own and founding Welfare Officer of the club, the Late Chief (Mrs.) Julie Chin Alale (Madam Rangers) was laid to rest in Umudim-Nnewi.

Present at the burial of the late ‘Madam Rangers’ as she was fondly called by followers of the club include; Chairman, Christian Chukwuemeka Chukwu (Mfr), Emmanuel Oguejiofor Okala (MON), Stanley Okoronkwo, and other members of the Ex-Rangers Int’L Footballers Association while the current crop of players, coaches, staff and management team visited on their way back from their league match where members of the family received the contingent.

G.M/CEO of Rangers, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku called the families left behind by Madam Rangers who died at the ripe age of 91 years, to be consoled by the fact that she lived a life worthy of emulation and was selfless in her dealings while alive stressing, “We mourn the passing on of our dear ‘Madam Rangers’ who did great things in the life of our club, Rangers. We will miss her great inspirations at matches but we take solace in the fact that she lived a life worthy of emulation. We condole with the immediate family she left behind and charge you all to bear the loss with fortitude. May her soul rest in peace.”

A member of the family, Engr. Dozie Obi, while replying to the CEO’s remarks, said, “We appreciate the show of love from the Rangers family at this moment of mummy’s loss. She displayed her attachment to the club while alive in all she did and you did not fail her with the large turnout of both the old and young players of the club at her burial. We thank you all.”

Late Chief Alale, Ezenwanyi Nnewi/Anaedo, joined her ancestors sometime last year and is survived by many relations.
