“It was a good display from the players and we just have to continue like this. They have to continue believing in themselves hopefully we can get the job done”,
“We knew it was going to be a physical game so we had to keep the likes of Elijah Akani on the bench till when it got slower, he came in to do his magic”,
“After our last work out, I didn’t tell Joseph Atule he wasn’t going to start but I told him it’s just a matter of time for the goals to start coming for him. He came in and could have scored two today, this will help his confidence and in the next matches he can consolidate”,
“For the next game against Heartland FC, we are in good form and we will surely go there to compete. I can’t guarantee what’s going to happen but we hope to have a good match in Owerri”, he said
The People’s Elephant will this Saturday in Owerri in an Oriental Derby take on the Naze Millionaires in one of the match day 10 games.
In their last 10 matches, Enyimba is yet to get a win over Heartland and with Coach Kennedy Boboye, a new Sheriff taking over in Owerri it promises to be a good spectacle.
