Building Materials Market Awka, Plastic Market Ogbunike To Try Each Other For Size In Anambra Traders Competition

Ifeanyi Osunwa of Arthur Eze Building Material, Awka has booked a place in the final Draught game of the ongoing Anambra Traders Sports Competition.

Osunwa will slug it out with Okoli Raphael of Plastic Market Ogbunike to play for the coveted gold medal in the event.

The games were played at the City Sports Club, Amawbia on Saturday.

To reach the Osunwa of Awka sent his opponent Uchenna Ezenwafor of Etewa Market, Ekwulobia,out of the competition with one win and two draws to reach the semi final stage.

In the first semi final, Osunwa handed Titus Daraebo of Electrical Market,Obosi a 2-0 defeat to book a place in the final.

In the second semi final game Raphael Okoli of Plastic Market Ogbunike strolled into the final after a walkover against his opponent from Bida Market Onitsha.

Osunwa and Okoli are now set to determine the winner and first runner up of the draught even of maiden Anambra Traders Sports Competition.

Winners in the competition will go home with N500,000, N300 000 and N200, 000 cash prizes.
