Rangers mercurial midfielder, Ugochukwu Ugwuoke, is set to undergo a corrective surgery on his knee to help him come back to the game after nearly two years on the sidelines.
This cheering information was made available by the G.M/CEO of Rangers, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku in an exclusive chat, Tuesday.
The former assistant captain of the ‘Flying Antelopes’ will be having the surgery on October 4, 2023 at a health facility in the Coal City with assurances from the medical professionals that he will be back doing what he knows best in less than six months.
“Yes, management has decided to work the talk to see that Ugwuoke is back on the field to help us win matches. This is bundle of talent that cannot just be left to waste, hence our decision to get in touch with a top medical professional to help with his niggling knee injury that is threatening his career”,
“With the assurances we have, in less than six months, Ugwuoke Ugochukwu will be fully fit to defend the colors of Rangers again,” stated the young club CEO.
The Rangers’ management appreciates the sports loving executive governor of Enugu State, Barr. (Dr.) Peter Mbah for gracefully approving it’s request to get Ugwuoke back on the pitch playing high level football.
