The Country Representative, Bayern Munich Youth Cup, Mr Victor Edeh has congratulated the newly appointed General Manager Rangers International, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku.

In a letter of congratulations to the new CEO, Mr Edeh said his appointment heralds a new dawn for the development and organization of football in Enugu state.

While describing his appointment as a case of square peg in a square hole, the Head of youth and sports development sub-committee of Governor Peter Mbah’s transition committee congratulated Rangers International, Supporters Club and Enugu state for landing a gem.

The letter read:

I am delighted with the news of your appointment as the CEO/GM of our dear club, Rangers International of Enugu. This heralds a new dawn for the development and organisation of football for ndi Enugu.

We share a lot of commonality, from colleagues at the NFF to being alumni of the prestigious UEFA academy, so on behalf of everyone in our shared network, I say a big congratulations. I also congratulate and thank his excellency, the executive Governor of Enugu State, Bar Peter Mbah for giving you this humongous task of transforming our darling club into one of the top 5 clubs in Africa.

This is a case of a square peg in a square hole and I have absolute belief that no better person has the dedication, ability, passion, resourcefulness and love required to deliver the task at hand. For this I congratulate Rangers International Football Club, the supporters and ndi Enugu at large for landing a gem. I look forward to many trophy parades in the coming years.

The strategic plan 2023-2027 just released for the club on your first day in office demonstrates a clear vision for the club and preparedness on your end to deliver the task at hand.

Congratulations my friend.
