With eyes on the real prize, Enyimba FC will refuse to be distracted by the little set back after losing 0-1 to Bayelsa United FC on Thursday as they prepare for their away trip to Benghazi, Libya.

The 2 times CAF Champions League winners will turn attention to the next friendly, the derby against perennial neighbours, Rangers Int’l FC of Enugu this Sunday.

Coach Finidi George after the first game against Akwa United said the focus is on getting the players fitness to a good level.

He expressed that all the players will get minutes in the friendlies including the new players as the team continues to intensify for the first leg of the CAF Champions League qualifier on August 20, 2023 against Al Ahli Benghazi in Libya.
