Apparently in response to the arguments around the performance level of Anaedo Bigger Boys All Stars in the ongoing Anambra All Stars Competition, a member of the team, Jude Okoye has revealed the secret behind the successful outings of the team.

Speaking to Newspathfinder, the former Jasper United speed star popularly known as Ntebe said the team made regular training their main stay as they train every morning week in week out

“We train every morning, as early as 5:30, 6am till 8am when school children come out and we go because we use a school field”,

“We never fail to train from Monday to Monday. That’s why when you see us we look fit and younger than our age”, he said

On their qualification for the semi finals of the competition, Ntebe said God has been so merciful to bring them to this far and they hope to win the competition.

“I don’t have much to say, but I know that God has helped us to reach the semis and we are hoping to carry the cup home”.

He thanked the Anambra state FA Chairman, Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi for giving the ex players and other football enthusiasts the opportunity to participate in such well organized competition.

” I’m also thanking the FA chairman for this idea, because it is not easy for him to organize this in his first outing”,

” From this we have seen and remembered old players that we had no idea were still active. But with this he brought us together, I am really grateful to him”.
