Newly appointed Enyimba Int’l FC chairman, Kanu Nwankwo has hit the ground running with activities aimed at ensuring optimum performance for the Aba based team in the forthcoming football season.
Earlier this week, he instructed the sporting director to carry out a thorough inspections of the Enyimba stadium and player’s camp to ascertain the state of the facilities.
Upon the completion of these inspections, the newly appointed sporting director Ifeanyi Ekwueme determined the facilities were in need of urgent renovations and noted he would relate the information to the Chairman in order to take the necessary steps towards bringing the facilities up to standard.
Also this week, Kanu led a delegation of the newly formed African Football league (AFL) to Uyo for an inspection of the facilities that would host Enyimba’s home games in the competition.
It’s clear that the super eagles legend means business in his new role.
