UNIZIK Faculty Of Social Sciences Set To Hold Maiden Orientation Workshop

The Faculty of Social Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka is set to hold her maiden Staff Orientation and Reorientation Workshop.

The upcoming workshop has its theme as: “Professing knowledge, of the things we think, say and do”. The workshop is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 4th July 2023 by 10am at the University Auditorium.

According to information made available to the media by the Chief Host and Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Frank-Collins Okafor, the workshop will be chaired by ASUU NAU Chapter Chairperson, Comrade Stephen Ufoaroh. The Special Guest of Honour is UNIZIK Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Esimone, FAS; Guest Speaker is the former Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Imo State, Prof. Emeka Ezeonu while the Deputy Provost (Humanities), College of Postgraduate Studies (CPGS) UNIZIK, Prof. Emma Obidimma is also one of the resource persons.

The Faculty Chairperson on Staff Training and Development who doubles as the Deputy Director, UNIZIK 94.1 FM Radio, Prof. Bentina Mathias also informed that the workshop will feature current innovations, changes and expectations of the Postgraduate programme.
