Though prepared for the quarter finals encounter against EmmyKing FC on Wednesday 15th March 2023, the Ozalla Football Academy is working hard to ensure fruitful outing in NLO Two.

The coach of the Onitsha based side , Uche Kelechi Patrick disclosed this after his side trounced Hopeland 5-1 at the Awka City Stadium to book a quarter finals place in the ongoing NEROS/Anambra FA Cup.

“We are happy with the progress we are making in the FA cup and we hope to do better in the competition. However, we have NLO TWO to play next month”,

“Our plan is to make a better team and get to the top and qualify for NLO One. That’s our plan”,

“We hope that God blesses our efforts. We will work hard to ensure that all our outings this year be rewarded”, he said.

Ozalla Football Academy on Sunday made a bold statement in the 2023 NEROS/Anambra FA Cup As the Ikenna Osueke side put five past Hopeland FC in their Round of 16 clash.

With this huge win, the Nationwide League Two will meet EmmyKing FC who prevailed 3-2 on penalty shootout after 1-1 at regulation time over Dominion Football Academy in the quarter final.

Ozalla FC are a dominant team in the state and look good to reach the last four if they overcome EmmyKing in Wednesday’s fixture.
