A lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Nnamdi Azikiwe university,, Dr. Njide Ezeonyejiaku has advised students that are still at home to resume because academic activities have  kicked off.

Dr. Ezeonyejiaku made this known during the UNIZIK 94.1 FM programme, “Odimmanyi.”

She stated that students at home should inquire from their colleagues around to verify of the activities going on in school, while expressing dissatisfaction that lecturers see no or minimal number of students in class.

She mentioned that schooling has lots of benefits both to the individual & the society and anyone that sees it as unimportant needs to be checked.

She therefore said the students should overlook all the challenges universities are facing and stay focused, while urging parents to release their children to go back to school because it’s for their benefits and quizzes might resume soon.

Dr. Ezeonyejiaku also advised them not to be triangular students but should engage with other social groups & sports and value positive friendships.

She encouraged them to buy textbooks as the University has a bookshop and hold their studies as their priority which should override every other interest they have.
