Nnamdi Azikiwe University To Hold Her 2022/2023 Post-UTME And Direct Entry Screening Exercise

Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka has scheduled her 2022/23 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exercise (UTME) and Direct Entry screening exercise.

The upcoming screening exercise is for candidates who chose the University as their first choice in the 2022 UTME and Direct Entry as well as Nnamdi Azikiwe University Affiliate Institutions.

In an release made available to the public by the University Registrar, Barr. Philomena Iwara Okoye, registration kick-starts on Monday, 31st October, 2022 and ends on Sunday 15th January 2023.

Candidates who wish to change their proposed course of study or change of institution to Nnamdi Azikiwe University and its affiliate institutions are to do so on or before Sunday 15th January, 2023 by logging onto the website ‘apply.unizik.edu.ng’.

Candidates eligible for the screening exercise are those who chose UNIZIK or its affiliate institutions as their first choice and met the required cut-off mark.

Candidates who did not choose UNIZIK as first choice university but scored the eligible cutoff marks of the Faculty and programme as well as Direct Entry candidates with OND, HND, First Degree or A’Level in relevant disciplines and subjects.

Faculties/Programmes with Cut-off mark of 200 are Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Health Science and Technology, Cut-off mark of 180 is applicable for admission into the Faculties of Arts, Basic Medical Sciences, Biosciences, Engineering, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences and Social Sciences while the Faculties with the minimum Cut-off mark of 160 are Agriculture, Environmental Sciences and Education.

Others are Arts (Igbo, Religion, Modern European Languages and Music); Biosciences (Botany, Parasitology and Entomology, Zoology); Engineering (Agric. and Bio Resources, Industrial Production, Metallurgical and Material, Polymer and Textile); Management Sciences (Banking and Finance, Cooperative Economics and Management, Entrepreneurial Studies, Marketing and Public Administration); Physical Sciences (Geological Sciences, Geophysics, Mathematics, Physics and Industrial Physics, Pure and Industrial Chemistry, Statistics) and all affiliate institutions.

The date and time for the screening exercise will be made public in no distant time. For more information the general public and all concerned are to log on to UNIZIK website on www.unizik.edu.ng.
