The Commissioner of Sports and Social development Katsina State, Dr Bishir Gambo Saulawa has assured of the ministry’s commitment in partnering with the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria katsina State Chapter towards promoting Sporting events in the State.
Dr Bishir Gambo Saulawa gave the assurance when he received Officials and members of Katsina SWAN in a courtesy Visit
The Sports Commissioner who expressed appreciation over the visit by the Association said his door will remain open for any meaningful advice that will move the activities of the Ministry forward
Dr Bishir Gambo Saulawa explained that the Ministry under his watch is doing everything possible in bridging the gap between the management of Katsina United Fc, Football loving Fans as well as the Stakeholders in Sports sector
The Commissioner used the visit to assure the home base Players that will come for screening exercise of his readiness to ensure that fair and just is done to any player that deserve to be with Katsina United Fc
He charged the Sports Writers to contribute their quota by widening their Reportage in all aspects of Sports
The State Sports Director Umar Aliyu Saulawa stressed the need for mass mobilization of people in Sports and the role of Philanthropist in promoting Sporting activities
Earlier the State Chairman Katsina SWAN Nasir Sani Gide stated that they were at the Commissioner’s office to congratulate him and also to briefed him on the activities of the Association
The SWAN Chairman called for more collaborative effort between the State Sports Ministry and Katsina SWAN for more development in Sports Sector.
