All is now set for the commencement of the engineering internship scholarship, offered by Chairman of United Nigeria Airlines, Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, to students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, in Anambra state.
The program will start in October.
This followed the signing and exchange of the final documents and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Prof. Okonkwo and the Vice-Chancellor of UNIZIK, Prof. Charles Okechukwu Esimone, FAS, in Abuja on Friday.
According to the agreement, Prof. Okonkwo will take between 10 to 20 Engineering students of UNIZIK on a fully funded internship scholarship at the Engineering department of United Nigeria Airlines, which he founded.
